Calgary's first tango show, “Rhythm of Peace takes place Saturday,
Sept. 11 at the University Theatre, featuring tango, flamenco and salsa
dance performances.
Presented by DanceCalgary.com and Jorge Romberg of Magic Tours &
Travel, the tango show tells the story of a young man in love with both
tango and a woman.
The show features local dancers, actors and musicians, and will appeal
to people of all ages and cultural backgrounds since it offers something
for everyone, from dancing to singing to a tango band, says co-producer
and dancer Dayle Schroeder. The tango, in particular, is a dance of the
people. It's a social dance - anybody can dance it and enjoy it.

The show takes place Sept. 11 at 7 p.m., with tickets available at the
door.

Part of the proceeds will go to Kids Cancer Care Foundation of Alberta.
